    Safety comes first. That is why we conduct a risk screening with every client. You will receive a code (green, orange, or red). This indicates how safe your situation is at Kadera. Based on this, you will create a safety plan together with your case manager. This plan contains agreements that are important for your safety and that of your child(ren). <\/p>

    Following the intake, a strengths inventory is conducted. You look at what you can do, what you want, and what you dream of. What are your strengths, and what do you want to achieve? A goal emerges from this inventory. That goal forms the starting point of your action plan. You work towards it in small steps. You do as much as possible yourself and enlist help from people around you or from professionals where necessary. Your case manager supports you in this. <\/p>

    You are involved in every step and have influence over the form and direction of the support. Every 6 to 8 weeks, you discuss the action plan with your case manager and other involved care providers.     Sustainability<\/strong> means that we consider the interests and needs of everyone involved. Together with you, we work to prevent and stop domestic violence, with extra attention to children. In this way, we want to prevent them from becoming victims or perpetrators themselves later in life. <\/p>

    Being inventive<\/strong> means that we are creative and resourceful. We think in terms of possibilities, seek solutions, and dare to step outside the beaten path when necessary. We are not easily discouraged. <\/p>

    Kadera has been HKZ-certified since 2008 and meets the standards for Social Shelters and Women’s Shelters. We are regularly inspected and continue to improve our services. That is why we would like to hear what you think of our care.     Domestic violence never affects just one person. A system is always involved, such as your family. Where possible, we involve this entire system, because this helps to stop violence sustainably.     At Kadera, we work from a strengths-based perspective. We assume that recovery is possible. You determine your own goals and work on them together with your support worker.     Clients in Kadera’s shelters participate and have a say. This means that we can continuously improve the quality of care and better match our clients\u2019 needs regarding their recovery.<\/p>

    We want to hear clients’ ideas on how we can improve care and the stay in the shelter. We will work on their ideas and wishes wherever possible to continuously improve life for men, women and children in the shelter, now and in the future.<\/p>

    Every Kadera shelter has a client panel. During the client panel, we talk with the clients about the assistance, Kadera’s policy and what is going well, along with points of improvement, bottlenecks and wishes.<\/p>

    Youth Panel<\/h5>

    We have started a youth panel at the shelter in Zwolle.     You have the right to access your file or to receive a copy of (parts of) your file. This allows you to see what information about you has been recorded. If you receive support from Kadera, you can discuss this with your care provider. <\/p>

    Are you no longer receiving assistance from Kadera? Then you can indicate which documents you would like to receive via info@kadera.nl. Kadera has a maximum of four weeks to respond. Do you believe that information is incorrect? Then you can request an addition, correction, or removal. Your request will be carefully reviewed, and you will always receive a reasoned response. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    If you have parental authority and your child is under the age of twelve, you have the right to access your child’s file. From the age of twelve, a child has the right to access the file themselves. Between the ages of twelve and sixteen, both the child and parents with parental authority can request the file. From the age of sixteen, only the child themselves may be granted access. <\/p>

    Do you have difficulty with the Dutch language? In some cases, it is possible to have conversations with an interpreter. Your care provider can arrange this for you. The interpreter translates by telephone or is present during a conversation.
